William Henry Giles Kingston (28 February 1814 – 5 August 1880), often credited as W. H. G. Kingston, was an English writer of boys' adventure novels. William Henry Giles Kingston was born in Harley Street, London, on 28 February 1814. He was the eldest son of Lucy Henry Kingston (d.1852) and his wife Frances Sophia Rooke (b.1789), daughter of Sir Giles Rooke, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas. Preface: Dear reader, “No one is too small to make a difference”. We were asked to work on a project that would satisfy the mentioned statement. I was asked to choose between 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Which provides attention to various problems that our world is facing. The one that stood out to me as a prominent one was the resource consumption. Every day I used to see that a lot of tan water was utilized for washing cars, watering plants and cleaning the house. This was practiced daily at my home. One afternoon I saw that m filter was giving out 2-3 times the water that was being consumed. I wondered how I could reuse this water to reduce the need for fresh water to clean cars and water gardens. When I started researching about the water that my filter was giving out, I learned that the water is known as the water from the RO system or the filter. Many people believe that it contains harmful chemicals and has salt present in the water. To neutralize the salt more water has to be added. When I researched based on this online I came across information which mentions that the water from the filter should be mixed with distilled water with the ratio 1:3 in order to neutralize the water with the salt. I thought to myself that by doing this in most of the houses, people can start reusing the water which would help us in reducing water scarcity. But one day King Kindely lost his wife and very young daughter, Princess Priscilla. Upon returning to the Kingdom of Sonas, the King's finest ship carrying the Queen and the Princess was swallowed up by the biggest fish anyone had ever seen on the Salty Sea. The King was very sad and for years cried and cried. Soon, the Salty Sea began to rise and with it many, many islands that were as big as mountains too. Also, the fish were found no more. On the land the driest drought anyone had ever experience was taking the only fresh water left leaving the people worrying that one day it would all be gone and they would perish. But one day the King cried his last tear and came to his senses. He believed if the fish could be found the Queen and Princess could be rescued from its belly and the Kingdom of Sonas would once again be the happiest kingdom in all the lands. He sent out a plea asking all to help. And the story begins when the plea reaches the hands of a son of a simple farmer. The son reads the plea and decides to help The Lonely King. [mehr]
