The third one is too have a happy care free life, a life where he doesn’t have to constantly look over his shoulder for cops trying to lock him up or rival gangs trying to kill him. He has been battling with the decision of getting out for almost two years but never had a legitimate reason to actually go forth with the task. That is until he meets and instantly falls in love with Courtney Smith, who is everything he’s ever dreamed of.
Courtney and Raphael builds their bond strictly on love, not his street credentials or her family’s wealth. The only dilemma is can a Christian, Brainiac Lawyer spend her life enjoying the love and affection from a gangsta like Raphael? When she knows her family, especially her father will never accept or approve of their relationship. Courtney is going to have to make a decision as to whether she wants to live her life making her family happy. Alice in Wonderland has become a byword for the unreal and highly imaginative. It has inspired children, artists, writers, film producers and musicians worldwide. This quintessentially English story has gained global eminence. It is a perennial favourite popular across all ages and cultures. The image of a little blonde haired girl, dressed in a blue dress and white pinafore and hair caught back by band is instantly recognisable as Alice. Other characters too have developed recognisable identities of their own such as the White Rabbit complete with his pocket watch, the Mad Hatter, the Red Queen and the Playing Card soldiers. It is an amazing achievement for a quiet Oxford don who created the stories just to amuse a group of children.
Oxford will forever remain the key area associated with Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. It was here that the story was created on that hot day long ago, when Carroll took the Liddell children for a boat ride along the river. Yet there are many other locations that have a claim to fame, and possess connections to the Alice story.
Over the years, Carroll’s work has come under scrutiny. He has been variously described as a frustrated, unmarried clergyman, a talented photographer, a social historian offering insights into Victorian life, and a nonsense writer like Edward Lear, another Victorian writer.
Port Meadow is the location of the White Rabbit’s rabbit hole, while nearby is the dark wood ‘where things have no name’ as well as Godstow Lock where Alice first encountered a white rabbit with pink eyes who ran close by, muttering he was late. The treacle well and the pool of tears can also be found near Oxford, the city in which both Alice and Lewis Carroll made their home. Yet there are many other locations that have a claim to fame, and possess connections to the Alice story.
Lewis Carroll was born in Daresbury, Cheshire where the church has a beautiful stained glass window featuring the author and his characters. Down in Cornwall, Antony House was used as a setting for Tim Burton’s stunning film Alice in Wonderland, as did Charlestown harbour. While over in North Wales, the Liddell family had a holiday home in Llandudno and there are now special trails that can be followed.

In 1866 the American minister at Rio de Janeiro turned from the reality
of a few incongruous and trouble-breeding Kentucky colonels,
slouched-hatted and frock-coated, wandering through the unfamiliar
streets of the great South American capital, and saw a nightmare. There
is a touch of panic in the despatch which he sent to Mr. Seward at a
time when both secretary and public were held too closely in the throes
of reconstruction to take alarm at so distant a chimera. Agents of the
Southern States, wrote the minister, claimed that not thousands of
families, but a hundred thousand families, would come to Brazil.
As a matter of fact, this exodus, when it took place, was so small that
it failed to raise a ripple on the social pool of the Western
Hemisphere. But to the self-chosen few who suffered shipwreck and
privation, financial loss from their already depleted store, disaster to
their Utopian dreams, and a great void in their hearts where once had
been love of country, it became a tragedy--the tragedy of existence.
The ardor that led a small band of irreconcilables to gather their
households and their household goods about them and flee from a personal
oppression, as had their ancestors before them, was destined to be short
lived. From the first, fate frowned upon their enterprise. They looked
for calm seas and favorable winds, but they found storms and shipwreck.
Their scanty resources were calculated to meet the needs of only the
crudest life, but upon the threshold of their goal they fell into the
red-tape trammels of a civilization older than their own. Where they
looked for a free country, a wilderness flowing with milk and honey,
which in their ignorance they imagined unpeopled, they found the
squatter had been intrenched since the Jesuit fathers and their
following explored the continent four centuries before. Finally, they
believed themselves to be the vanguard of a horde, but, once in the
breach, they found there was no following host.
Most of those who had the means reversed their flight. Others, with
nothing left but their broken pride, sought aid from the government they
abhorred, and were given a free passage back in returning men-of-war.
But when the reflux had waned and died, there was still a residue of
half a hundred families, most of whom were so destitute that they could
not reach the coast. With them stayed a very few who were held by their
premature investments or by a deeper loyalty or a greater pride. Among
the latter was the head of the divided house of Leighton.
The Reverend Orme Leighton was one of those to whom the war had brought
a double portion of bitterness, for the Leightons of Leighton, Virginia,
had fought not alone against the North, but against the North and the
Leightons of Leighton, Massachusetts.
To the Reverend Orme Leighton, a schism in the church would have meant
nothing unless it came to the point of cracking heads; but a schism in

Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel (German: [ˈhɛkəl]; February 16, 1834 – August 9, 1919[1]) was a German biologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor, and artist who discovered, described and named thousands of new species, mapped a genealogical tree relating all life forms, and coined many terms in biology, including anthropogeny, ecology, phylum, phylogeny, stem cell, and the kingdom Protista. Haeckel promoted and popularized Charles Darwin's work in Germany and developed the controversial recapitulation theory ("ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny") claiming that an individual organism's biological development, or ontogeny, parallels and summarizes its species' evolutionary development, or phylogeny.
The published artwork of Haeckel includes over 100 detailed, multi-colour illustrations of animals and sea creatures (see: Kunstformen der Natur, "Art Forms of Nature"). As a philosopher, Ernst Haeckel wrote Die Welträtsel (1895–1899, in English, The Riddle of the Universe, 1901), the genesis for the term "world riddle" (Welträtsel); and Freedom in Science and Teaching[2] to support teaching evolution.
Born in Saltoun, East Lothian, he taught at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College from 1893 until 1899 then University of Aberdeen from 1899 until 1930, the year he was knighted. His popular works sought to reconcile science and religion. Thomson's Outline of Science, published in 1922, sold more than one hundred thousand copies in five years.[3]

In his Gifford lectures and a number of books written with his friend Patrick Geddes he argued for a form of holistic biology in which the activity of the living organism could transcend the physical laws governing its component parts.[4][5] Some had termed the work of Geddes and Thomson as neovitalist though the position presented in their books is more closer to panpsychism as Thomson had claimed that mind can not emerge from matter and that it has existed in nature all the time. Thomson had believed there was life at all levels, he wrote that "there is nothing inanimate". He had however found the vitalist ideas of Henri Bergson inspirational.

I was just viewing some videos and one of the videos talked about women empowerment. Amen. I have been on the planet earth for almost 47 years now. Amen. And I have seen women raped beaten and this is including young female girls. Amen. I don't know of nothing else. Amen. If she goes to church the females are abused if they go to work or school they still get abused. Amen. I have seen this all my life. Amen. All I was told this much that God himself formed a male body because he is a male and he put himself inside that body through his own breath and man became a living soul. Amen. Please forgive me for saying this much. H.H. Fick
The German-Americana Collection is a rich source of material on the heritage of Germans in the United States. Consisting primarily of monographs on literature and history, in recent years it has expanded to include archival materials on everyday German-American life, including photographs, church records, organizational records, and almanacs. However, its existence, and research value, can be traced to a remarkable founding collection.
In 1935, the University of Cincinnati Libraries acquired the H.H. Fick German-Americana collection for its holdings. Over the course of his lifetime, Heinrich Hermann Adolf Fick, a leader in Cincinnati’s German-American community prior to the First World War, assembled an outstanding collection of books on German-American life and culture. Fick gathered this collection for students of German-Americana, but he was much more than just a book collector. Fick was a noted educator, advocate, writer, and a poet.
Born in Lübeck, Germany on August 16, 1849, Fick was educated at theGrossheimsche Schule, and in 1864 he immigrated to New York where he went to work for his uncle. He then moved to Cincinnati where he would spend much of the rest of his life. He initially had the intention of doing work in sales, but quickly grew dissatisfied with the business world.1
In 1870, he was appointed as a teacher at an elementary school in Cincinnati, where he taught both German and art. Fick was so successful as an art instructor that by November of 1878, he was appointed Superintendent of Drawing, a position he held until 1884.2 During Fick’s tenure, the Drawing Department continued to grow in renown. In a 1902 history of the Cincinnati schools, John B. Shotwell wrote that during Fick’s superintendency, “Exhibits of drawing were frequent at institutes and at meetings of the National Education Association, and Cincinnati continued to hold her reputation as a leader in this branch of education.”3 It is not surprising that Fick felt that drawing proficiency was ‘just as important as reading and writing.’4 He even published a book on drawing, Pencil and Brush; An Introduction to the Elementary Principles of Graphic Representation, for the use of students and teachers in Cincinnati's schools.5
In 1884, Fick resigned from his position as Superintendent of Drawing, and moved to Chicago, where he wrote for the German press and gave private lessons in German and art. It is here that that he met and married Clementine Barna, who was also a German teacher. With Barna and a colleague named Louis Schutt, Fick established a German-English school in Chicago, and served as the school’s director.6
He returned to Ohio in 1890, to Ohio University in Athens, and began studying for his Ph.D., which he was awarded in 1892. Fick then took a position as principal of the Sixth District School in Cincinnati. In 1901, he became Assistant Superintendent of the Pub [mehr]

Robert Browning (7 May 1812 – 12 December 1889) was an English poet and playwright whose mastery of dramatic verse, especially dramatic monologues, madRobert Browning was born in Camberwell (a district now forming part of the Borough of Southwark in south London), the only son of Sarah Anna (née Wiedemann) and Robert Browning.[1][2] His father was a well-paid clerk for the Bank of England, earning about £150 per year.[3] Browning's paternal grandfather was a wealthy slave owner in Saint Kitts, West Indies, but Browning's father was an abolitionist. Browning's father had been sent to the West Indies to work on a sugar plantation, but, revolted by the slavery there, he returned to England. Browning's mother was a daughter of a German shipowner who had settled in Dundee in Scotland, and his Scottish wife. Browning had one sister, Sarianna. Browning's paternal grandmother, Margaret Tittle, who had inherited a plantation in St Kitts, was rumoured within the family to have had some Jamaican mixed race ancestry. Author Julia Markus suggests St Kitts rather than Jamaica.[4][5] Evidence is inconclusive.[6] Robert's father, a literary collector, amassed a library of around 6,000 books, many of them rare. Thus, Robert was raised in a household of significant literary resources. His mother, to whom he was very close, was a devout nonconformist and a talented musician.[1] His younger sister, Sarianna, also gifted, became her brother's companion in his later years, after the death of his wife in 1861. His father encouraged his children's interest in literature and the arts.[1]
By twelve, Browning had written a book of poetry which he later destroyed when no publisher could be found. After being at one or two private schools, and showing an insuperable dislike of school life, he was educated at home by a tutor via the resources of his father's extensive library.[1] By the age of fourteen he was fluent in French, Greek, Italian and Latin. He became a great admirer of the Romantic poets, especially Shelley. Following the precedent of Shelley, Browning became an atheist and vegetarian, both of which he gave up later. At the age of sixteen, he studied Greek at University College London but left after his first year.[1] His parents' staunch evangelical faith prevented his studying at either Oxford or Cambridge University, both then open only to members of the Church of England.[1] He had inherited substantial musical ability through his mother, and composed arrangements of various songs. He refused a formal career and ignored his parents' remonstrations, dedicating himself to poetry. He stayed at home until the age of 34, financially dependent on his family until his marriage. I came into the world with an enormous amount of pain to. To deal with my pain I turned to religion at a very young age, namely at 10 or 11 years old. After experiencing the religion of Christianity I converted to Islam at the age of 18 and by the age of 21 I left religion entirely.
At the age of 29 I embraced myself as male and I underwent a physical gender transition and at the age of 31 I went through a series of intense supernatural experiences which revealed insights previously unknown to the Planet.
It is important to recognise that when I spent time as a Christian and then as a Muslim, I wholeheartedly believed in both of the faiths at the time of practicing it.
As a Christian I read the Bible cover to cover and regularly attended Church and ‘cell groups’.
As a Muslim I wore a headscarf, prayed 5 times a day and I wrote articles about why Islam is the perfect and true religion.
This Guide is for anyone wanting to explore themselves deeper than they may have allowed themselves to whilst concentrated within the parameters of a religion - namely the monotheistic religions. I hope that it causes movement within you that feels both good to you as well as movement that feels like freeing.

The Christian Wound it is a vibration that 89% of us hold which means that learning about it is not only important for Christians, but for us all.
Put simply, the Christian Wound is the vibration which manifests into a belief that “I am wrong and there is something wrong with the world”. People with a lot of money, wealth or fame tend to not hold this vibration very strongly. This vibration is most common amongst the impoverished, the downtrodden and the ill fated.
Whilst this vibration was not caused by Christianity per se, it has it’s origins in Christianity because when the vibration first arrived on planet Earth it manifested as the invention of Christianity – officially around 323 AD – that is, 323 years after the prophet Yeshua died.
Yeshua is the Aramaic name for the person we in English call Jesus. Jesus Christ as a concept represents both a historical myth and a historical falsehood. There is no power in the word Jesus. Words only have power according to the meaning we as God give to them. There is no more power in the word Jesus than there is in the very offensive word 'nigger'.

Despite my newfound determination, I found I couldn't run much farther, making it only five or six metres down the corridor, before stopping to catch my breath again.
+Attelus,+ said Karmen. +Attelus you've got to keep moving.+
I nodded and forced my body onward, ambling while using my forearm to pull myself along the corridor, glancing around at every crash and roar that echoed through the building from Darrance's and the daemons' struggle. There were, without doubt, more daemons; I had to be careful.
I made it to the end of the corridor, finding another window.
With battered, bloody and hurt hands, I clumsily slid it open and leaned to look outside. The next building over was another long, six-story hab unit. It was nearly a three-metre gap, and the nearest fire escape was a few windows on my left.
I quickly recalled that there was a fork in the corridor a while back. Most of all, what caught my attention was the light; the blood-red light had grown in intensity. It was like my eyes had blown their blood vessels. I sighed, about to push back into the building but stopped as I felt slight droplets of rain on my head.
I blanched in bemusement and looked up at the thick, crimson clouds above. It never rained in the underhive; it couldn't rain in the underhive; the ceiling of the over hive forever prevented that. The few droplets quickly escalated into a full-on downpour, but I couldn't see the rain; I could hear it, feel it, but couldn't see it. I reeled inside, abruptly shut the window and backed away in disgust and horror.
It was raining blood, frigging blood.
Another great crash down the hall made me jump and brought me back to reality. I turned and ran to the intersection, turning right. As much I didn't want to go outside, I had to get to the roof; it was the best way to go. Making it to the next turn, I ran to the fire escape door and, without looking back, opened it and stepped outside.
The force of the blood rain hit me like a punch to the jaw, and I raised my arm to protect my face with a growl of anger and fighting the urge to vomit. I started up the metal staircase.
Edracian wasn't just throwing daemons at me but the very elements. I couldn't help but take some pride in that. Clenching my teeth, I trod carefully, all the while clutching hard at the handrail to keep my feet on the treacherous, slick surface.
Finally, I made it to the top and looked about, trying to find this church. I saw it through the blood-red, a large, two-story monastic and overly grandiose thing; its two towers which stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the simplistic hab buildings around it. It would've been gaudy if it wasn't in such disrepair. My brow furrowed involuntarily, the Ecclesiarchy, always having the thrones to build such monstrosities but never really helping those in need. Ohh, they did but only 'spiritually', which meant nothing to me and not just that they'd charge for it too. I shook away such thoughts and walked to the other side of the roof.
After wiping my sticky, blood-slicked hair from my eyes, I spun on my heels, fell into a sprint and lunged over the three-metre gap.
Landing well, I finished into a crouch and ran to the next edge, stopping to look along the side, trying to find another way down.
The tallest building was only four stories high and was a good one hundred metres away, which would've made me curse, but I froze in fear as I saw daemons, frigging dozens of the bastards. They stood perfectly still throughout the streets and the buildings below. As I noticed them, all their snouts simultaneously snapped upward, somehow looking straight at me. Desperate with utter terror, I threw myself to the floor, although I suspected it was fruitless.
"Karmen! Karmen! You could've frigging warned me of this!" I hissed through clenched teeth.
It took a good few seconds before Karmen finally replied that her voice was pained and distant when she did. +Warn you of what Attelus? I am sorry, I am...busy. I cannot see everything.+
Slowly, I climbed up and peered over the buttress, but what I saw scared me even more. All the daemons were all gone.
+Attelus? What's wrong?+ "I-" My reply was interrupted by a massive crash followed by another, then another that came from below.
I furrowed my brow in bemusement, climbed to my feet; then the realisation hit me; it hit me hard.
+Attelus!+ "They're collapsing the frigging building!" I roared, more to myself than to her, and as if on cue, the roof under my feet began to sway and tilt, making me stumble to keep my feet. Panic gripped me so hard I couldn't think straight, and I sprinted straight for one of the rooftop doors. Then found much to my distress; it locked. Without thinking, I kicked at the door; the first did nothing, the second not much more. It was only after the fifth that my panicked mind finally remembered, I was carrying a frigging powersword. I remembered the scene that’d played out the previous night, with Sister Susan, the chubby youth secretary of another church, who'd accused me of eating the remaining portion of beans they'd reserved, since we’d camped together, and had food prepared by some selected executives which I wasn’t part of.
"What kind of woman is she? I leave her to God.” I said tearfully, as I thought, as if I was speaking to another person.
She was so convincing, that everyone had believed her claim, as she accused me falsely:
“I saw you go through the back, towards the kitchen, but I didn’t expect that from you." she repeated loudly.
My experience at the camp, with Sister Susan, the same woman that I’d helped to carry her bag, on the day we arrived at the camp.

We’re humans after all, and most importantly am a Christian; the same word Brother Thomas, the only friend I made at the camp, had told me, after the disgrace I faced.

I reminded myself, as I rushed to struggle with the crowd, to board the train that'd already arrived.
I looked up at the setting sun, as I walked towards the main road, to board a taxi, that would take me home, after I'd closed from work. I remembered the strange dream that I heard, the previous night, with an old man in the dream, asking me to look up at the sky, to tell if I saw anything. Before I’d woken up in sweats.
“What was the meaning of that dream?” I wondered.
"The sky was nothing sort of clear, when I'd peeped through my window, at that odd hour of the night. Instead, I saw a cloud that was all blurred and dark, and with little stars, shining back at me.
Why did he ask me to look at the sky, when he knew that I was going to see nothing? What was the meaning of that dream?” I worried because I never have ordinary dreams; they always have their unique meanings, I knew it was a dream I shouldn’t take for granted, but I didn’t have the slightest idea what it meant.
I couldn’t even pray for long hours, like I did before, or even read the bible verses; I’d grown deeply moody, I hardly spoke, and even when I did, it sounded rude. I knew it was time to speak to someone about it, but I was reluctant; that was the lie I told myself. I knew deep within me, that I was enjoying the melancholy moment.
I thought of telling Pastor Timothy; my parish pastor, and close friend, he was like a brother to me because my older sister, Aunt Rukky, was married to his cousin, but I still couldn’t tell him I felt angry, or maybe I didn’t want to look unspiritual to him.
”Uncle Dele good evening,” a middle aged woman, horned and greeted, from a red car, that she drove as she parked beside me, as I stood by the main road. She was a neighbor from the next compound, so I knew her quite well.
“Don’t worry, I will take the bus.” I quickly said, passing and ignoring her, as I hopped into a bus that’d just parked in front of her car, leaving the woman obviously disappointed.
“I’ve been noticing your mood, you hardly call me these days, is everything okay?” My fiancée asked me, as we spoke on the phone, immediately I returned home.
“Yes everything is fine; my mother is disappointed, that she wouldn’t get to meet you again.” I changed the subject.
