Everyone is welcome as long as you are active. The premise behind this group is to provide useable feedback in reviews and critiques to our fellow authors. So many reviews are less than impressive, so be sure to be as thorough and thought provoking as possible.
Now, things will change slightly. We will treat this group as something of a book club. There will be ONE thread dedicated to the book up for review. Each person will post his/her review in THAT THREAD ONLY. A SECOND thread will be created for discussions and/or questions about said book. It is not necessary to participate in the discussion thread, but it is available for use as long as it pertains to the book in question. The only books that will be allowed are the ones added to the Booklist.
There will also be ONE thread dedicated for general discussion. ANY random posts NOT in this thread will be deleted WITHOUT notice. There will be no warnings for this as we aren't here to provide "updates" on our own books, but to review other's. IF you have a book that is FINISHED, you may add it to the group's booklist and post in the general discussion thread that it's been added. That is sufficient enough to let everyone know and add it to the review rotation.
Do not ask to be reviewed in a post!
The schedule for book reviews are as follows:
1. We will go down the Booklist in alphabetical order.
2. The thread will be created for that book, where the coverlink will be posted with synopsis for members to post reviews/critiques.
3. Books will be on a 2 week rotation, meaning the threads for the books will be "sticky" for 2 weeks while everyone reads and reviews. ~If this is insufficient time for you, please PM me and we'll discuss.~
4. If you generally do not like the book, please do not post the review on the public thread. PM the review to the author so you may discuss. Often, advice can be taken better when in private.
If you have questions, please PM me as I am moderating this group in Yezall's absence. Thanks!

I always giggle when I read such works as these from Carol. She finds ways to promote a witty banter between characters in a very classic manner. Although the dialogue is a bit more pointed toward an English way of speaking, as Carol resides in the UK, the women's point of view is still universal and quite cheeky.
As always, Carol exhibits a great short with the makings of what could be, if finished, a wonderful nugget of comedy. It's no wonder she has written so many wonderful stories over numerous genres with her understanding of thought and character interaction.
I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars, mostly for the abrupt ending. I would have loved to see a bit more out of these characters as they seemed rich from the start.

Review - Entertaining and witty. I could just see this conversation taking place. I liked the realism of the comments. But most of all I liked the logical progression of the dialogue.
My only suggestion: I would have liked to see a little more input from the pregnant character to spice it up. And definitely some input on the old excuse we act out because of hormones.
But that is just from my view as a reader. Overall, it was nicely done and neatly packaged. Fantastic job! Robynn
