I, myself, have also reached a standpoint. At the moment I've reached page 90 of this wonderful piece, but I am having trouble as to what he will do next. Thomas and his partners have just retreived their hard-earned furs after they were stolen by a greedy thief.
Thomas's option in this story is to head west to catch beaver furs and trade with the Native Americans. But along the way, there will be obstacles - both... mehr anzeigen
I have a complex character that has lost a motivation, and so her motivation is finding/creating a motivation. So far she only has a very few explanation for things going on and now more things that need more explanations keep coming up. She is stuck in a rut of confusion and decides that leaving is the best idea. Unfortunately for her, before she can leave she is taken hostage by the enemy that has been after her. What makes you a "colorful writer"? Better yet...what defines your best qualities and/or skills as a writer?
Personally, I try to urge myself in projecting images (both visually and in my mind), go into a certain graphic detail of the story's environment, make sure I'm grammatically and punctually correct, as well as expanding my vocabulary - checking up words in the dictionary that I can use for something I may not have ever described before.
I try to write as I want at the moment and then if I like the story I will go back over it. I think I might be colorful in the way of how every charecter I use I know like a family member. I know how they act, how they feel, what they think, and how other people may understand... mehr anzeigen
